WHERE WALKERS ARE WELCOME:
2008 conference in Prestatyn
Bookings are now open for our annual conference, which this year will take in the north Wales town of Prestatyn.
The conference takes place on Sunday October 26th, and there will be informal events on the preceding Saturday as well for early arrivals.
The conference programme offers a range of presentations and workshops, designed both for existing Walkers are Welcome town and towns and villages on their way to earning WaW status. We are expecting considerable interest this year in the event, so you may want to book in in good time. The booking form and details are here.
Prestatyn offers a choice of accommodation - details here.
2007 conference in Hebden Bridge
The first Walkers are Welcome conference, held in Hebden Bridge on October 21st 2007, was a lively and stimulating event. Thirteen Walkers are Welcome towns or potential WaW towns were present at the inaugural conference held in Hebden Bridge
