Colden Clough to Jack's Bridge

My favourite local walk is up the hillside to Heptonstall Hell Hole crags, past Lumb Bank and the 2 old Mill Chimneys in Colden Valley, past the little cave in the rock in the Beach woods that I call 'Egg Hole Rock' (where the Wesleyian preachers use to preach) and on to Jack's Bridge and the swim hole there.

From there I often take the track back into Hebden Bridge, but alternatives are to join the Penine Way over into Hardcastle Crags Valley, or the Calderdale Way into Jumble Hole Clough - all great options!
