ADOPT A PATH - grid square SD9929 This grid square has been been adopted under the Hebden Bridge Adopt-a-Path scheme by Liz and John Landscape Description: Central to this this square is the upland village of Pecket Well. It is surrounded by high pasture farms to the north and east but in the south west the land slopes away forming Pecket Well Clough, a narrow valley cutting through steep deciduous wooded hillsides to meet with the River Hebden at Midgehole, the entrance to Hardcastle Crags. 4 Sep 2007: Problem (9929a) notified to Calderdale (PDF) 18 Oct 2007: Problem (9929b) notified to Calderdale (PDF) Acknowledged by Calderdale 29 Oct 2007.
