We have been made aware of the following organised walks in the Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd area which welcome members of the public. (Please note that - except where indicated - Hebden Bridge Walkers' Action/Mytholmroyd Walkers' Action are not themselves the organisers. We're simply relaying information we've received from the walk organisers - you'll need to refer any queries, etc, to them direct).

Mar 2010

Sun 7 Mar Hebden bridge to Todmorden via Stoodley, meet HB marina, 10.30am, 8-9 miles, medium, bring train or bus fare for return. Organised by Calderdale Ramblers, 01422 353507

Sun 14 Mar Walk in Gorple and Widdop area, starts 11am, Widdop reservoir car park, information 01706 344702

Thu 18 Mar Hardcastle Crags circular. Meet Robin Hood, Peckett Wekl, north of HB (buses from HB) at 10.30am. 10 miles, medium. Organised by West Riding Ramblers, 01274 681034

Sat 20 Mar Hardcastle Crags and Gibson Mill. Meet 10.15 HB railway station, 6 miles, medium. Organised by North Kirklees Ramblers, 01924 462811

Sun 21 Mar Stoodley Pike, starts 1pm Withens Clough reservoir near Cragg Vale. 4 miles, organised by CAlderdale Countryside Service, information 01422 393215

Sun 18 Mar Hebden Bridge Circular, via Colden clough & Long Hey Top, 7 miles, easy. Organised by Friends of Dales Rail, designed for travellers on the 09.02 from Leeds to HB.
